The NATO EOD COE held its Annual Quality Assurance ( Conference QAAC) on 10 December 2025 in Trencin, Slovakia. This yearly event plays a vital role in fostering cooperation, enhancing knowledge exchange, and ensuring the consistent advancement of Quality Assurance practices across all EOD COE activities.
The 2025 Conference placed continuous improvement at the forefront, highlighting its essential role in strengthening the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of the Centre’s Education and Individual Training (E&IT) deliverables. Participants from the Centre’s Quality Management Team and attending experts engaged in in-depth discussions on evaluating delivered products, refining best practices in training and education, and identifying opportunities to further elevate instructional standards.
A key focus of the event was the ongoing development of realistic, mission-oriented training scenarios and the promotion of continuous learning as a core institutional value. By critically reviewing current methodologies and openly sharing insights, the Conference reaffirmed that excellence in EOD training can only be achieved through a sustained commitment to improvement in every stage of the training and education lifecycle.
The constructive dialogue and collaborative spirit demonstrated during the Conference are expected to drive meaningful enhancements to future EOD COE products and E&IT activities. These outcomes underscore the Centre’s dedication to remaining agile, responsive, and forward-leaning in support of NATO’s evolving operational requirements.
