The EOD COE proudly participated in the NATO Annual Quality Assurance (QA) Forum 2025, held on 14–15 October at the Finnish Defence Forces International Centre (FINCENT) in Helsinki, Finland.
This two-day event served as a key venue for enhancing cooperation, networking, and information exchange between HQ SACT, accredited NATO Education and Training Facilities, and prospective applicants to the NATO QA Programme. The Forum plays a crucial role in shaping the Programme’s future development, fostering standardization, and promoting the sharing of Best Practices and Lessons Identified/Lessons Learned.
Representing the EOD COE were COL Szilagyi (HUN-A), QA Manager, and Mr. Vostiar (SVK-A, LTC-Ret.), QA Secretary. Their active participation emphasized the Centre’s strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality management across NATO’s education and training community. COL Szilagyi presented the vision, mission, and main activities of the EOD COE, while Mr. Vostiar briefed attendees on the venue and preparations for the NATO QA Forum 2026.
In addition to strategic updates, the Forum explored emerging technologies, including digital tools such as AI, and data-driven decision-making in quality assurance, alongside breakout sessions focusing on continuous improvement and resilience.
The EOD COE is honored to have been selected to co-host the NATO QA Forum 2026 in Slovakia — a recognition of its growing role and contribution to NATO’s quality assurance efforts.
