On 20 MAR 2026, the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE) received a distinguished delegation from the NATO Defense College (NDC) and the NATO Regional Cooperation Course 35 (NRCC 35). Led by BGEN Ferenc MOLNAR (HDF), Director of the Academic Operations Division, and BGEN (Res) Ylli PULAJ (ALB), the visitors were welcomed by the Director of the EOD COE, COL Frantisek MIHALOVIC (SVK-A). The visit was part of the NRCC35 programme, where senior leaders from 21 countries were delivered comprehensive information about the Centre’s benefits to NATO and its partners.
The engagement provided a platform for high-level dialogue about the Centre’s mission and its strategic contributions to Alliance security. Director COL Frantisek MIHALOVIC and his leadership team gave NRCC 35 participants an overview of the Centre’s EOD expertise, focusing on Education and Training, Doctrines and Standardization, Lessons Learned, and Technologies related to EOD innovations. A constructive exchange during the questions and answers session strengthened mutual understanding of the security challenges in which all parties are facing to. In closing remarks, COL Frantisek MIHALOVIC reaffirmed that such collaborative visits are essential for enhancing NATO’s collective operational readiness and supporting ongoing efforts in interoperability among senior leaders NATO and NATO partnering nations.
