The Swedish Armed Forces organized the 25th Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Working Group (C-IED WG). The meeting was held at Karlberg Military Academy, Stockholm, Sweden from 20 to 22 June 2023. The agenda followed the chairman specific guidance, focusing on NATO Military Committee Land Standardization Board (MCLSB) priorities for this working group.
Since the personnel dynamic in NATO nations and structures is at high level, the event also served as a platform for developing new relations and information sharing. MAJ Adrian PETER (ROU-A), the Head of Transformation Support Department (TSD) at the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE), joined the working group and brought his contribution especially to the Doctrine and Terminology Panel (DTP).
The EOD COE is an active player in the C-IED Community of Interest and continues its commitment by providing updated information from the EOD field of expertise.

We bid farewell to WO Gábor KOROM (HUN-A), who has been a member of the EOD COE team since July 2022. Four years is a long time, especially in military service, where days are measured not in hours, but in shared challenges, successes, and mutual reliance.
